The Village Welcomes Summer
June 5th, 2019
The village of Walloon has finally thawed and is ready to usher in the start of the warm summer months with exciting and unforgettable activities, full of fun for the entire family!
The Walloon Lake Inn began offering brunch on Mother’s Day and Tommy’s also started the season off with “Rock Out Dock Out”. The cooler early summer temperatures cannot stop Walloon from kicking off the season right.
This month, the Walloon Lake Inn will premiere “Walloon Wine Time”, while continuing to serve brunch, and offering their three-course dinner special for just $50. However, the inn is not the only place to be in June — the Friends of the Crooked Tree Library presents author Lou Kasischke. The evening is sure to entertaining and engaging as Kasischke discusses his book After the Wind, 1996 Everest Tragedy — One Survivor’s Story.
The excitement of summer continues as the village of Walloon prepares to celebrate the Fourth of July. Making certain that this celebration is memorable for all our guests and town visitors of Walloon is our number one priority. We cannot wait to share the fun we have planned! After the fourth, the Talcott will host the “NASA American Freedom State Powerlifting Meet” and the village will host the third annual “TriWalloon”.
Although the end of August indicates the end of summer, the events don’t stop there. The Walloon Lake Inn will continue to provide excellent service and exclusive summer offers, and the village will host the sixth annual “Walloon Woodies”, a tradition that honors the history of Walloon summers.
At Hotel Walloon, we aim to surpass the expectations of our guests while maintaining only the highest level of quality and hospitality, and we hope to have the opportunity to make your summer the most remarkable one so far.
