When it comes to fly fishing in Northern Michigan, there might be nothing more iconic than casting a line into the same rivers and streams frequented by famous American author and Walloon Lake summer resident, Ernest Hemingway. Explore the stunning scenery of Walloon Lake, where Hemingway first discovered his love for fishing, alongside professional and seasoned guides. We are delighted to partner with True North Trout to offer guests this unique experience rooted in Walloon Lake history.  Full and half day excursions are available, and locally sourced snacks or lunch are provided. Availably for this unique and highly sought-after excursion is limited, reservations are recommended well in advance.
